Meet at 5:30pm at Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead, with apres social around 7/7:15 at Outdoor Divas will be providing pizza and wine for the group. We'll be sure to have some N/A options as well.
Simba is the uphill route from Lionshead. (970) 754-1023 is the uphill hotline number for Vail.
Parking at the Lionshead Transpo Center is free in the evening. We'll start moving uphill by 5:45, so plan for time to walk from the parking structure and gear up!
We'll skin at a relaxed pace for about an hour, ski down and then recollect at Outdoor Divas at about 7/7:15 for free drinks and pizza to get to know one another without all of the huffing and puffing.
If you aren't able to make the uphill, or perhaps you'd rather meet some people after rather than on the hill, please feel free to just join us for the apres social! We're a real friendly bunch.
All abilities and fitness levels welcome. We move in groups so no one is left behind and attendees can move at their own pace together. For us the goal of these meetups is to offer opportunities for women to get together, nourish current friendships or make new ones, and get outside. We just ask that you try to have a bit of an understanding on your gear as our ambassadors are not pros. We can help point you in the right direction before the event, and we can event help set you up with discounted demos at Cripple Creek Backcountry or demos at Colorado Adventure Guides.
Reminder: This is not a professionally guided event, we're just a bunch of ladies who love skiing/riding and socializing and are doing what we can to connect the community. Riding is at your own risk.
