Meet at 5:30pm at the bottom of Colorado Super Chair on Peak 8. Paid parking (less than $2 for 3 hours) in the Breck Park Stables Garage. To get to the base area, walk about a minute down the hill from the garage, you will see a covered hotel bridge in the distance on the right, walk under that, and then you will see us. We'll aim to be moving uphill by 5:45. The uphill route is straight up Springmeier to Vista Haus mid mountain lodge. We'll skin for about an hour, ski down and then recollect at Robbie's Tavern at about 7:15/7:30 for bites or drinks to get to know one another without all of the huffing and puffing.
If you aren't able to make the uphill, or perhaps you'd rather meet some people after rather than on the hill, please feel free to just join us for the apres social! We're a real friendly bunch.
All abilities and fitness levels welcome. We move in groups so no one is left behind and attendees can move at their own pace together. For us the goal of these meetups is to offer opportunities for women to get together, nourish current friendships or make new ones, and get outside. We just ask that you try to have a bit of an understanding on your gear as our ambassadors are not pros. We can help point you in the right direction before the event, and we can event help set you up with discounted demos at Cripple Creek Backcountry or demos at Colorado Adventure Guides.
Reminder: This is not a professionally guided event, we're just a bunch of ladies who love skiing/riding and socializing and are doing what we can to connect the community. Riding is at your own risk.
Bring your helmet, headlamps, layers, and water. No uphill pass is required.
